The club has a number of teams in the West of Scotland Table Tennis League, playing under the name "Brunswick" and playing home matches at the Brunswick Centre, Balornock on Thursday evenings.
Charges:
There are no annual fees for anyone except those involved in West of Scotland League teams. So, if you want to come along to the Leisuredrome and find out whether the Club suits you, it costs only £2 per night (Seniors) or £1 per night (Juniors) for Season 2009/10. For those taking part in League teams, there is an annual fee of £40.00 (Seniors) and £20.00 (Juniors), together with a nightly fee of £2 for each match played at the Brunswick Centre.
Juniors:
The Club does not normally accept Juniors below the age of 12 unless accompanied by an adult. This is due to the fact that play takes place in part of a public hall and it is not possible to ensure that Juniors remain in the play area. A Junior is defined as being under eighteen on 31 December preceding the start of the current season (ie 31 December 2008 for season 2009/10).
Equipment:
Players should normally have their own racquet (bat) although a small number of bats are available to borrow by attendees who have forgotten or not yet purchased one. There are no particular clothing requirements, however a dark, lightweight shirt is recommended. To meet the Leisuredrome's requirements for protection of the floor, trainers or sports shoes with light-coloured soles should be worn.
